Alright, i need some motivation, that is for sure.

and i really really found it.

i talk regularily to a girl on the net (dont we all). For the past 20 days she has been fasting on only water, and it really has made me see the light. shes unbelievably strong and has lost 12kg. She planned to lose 10, but when she reached that goal she just wasnt hungry so she kept going on with her fast. She is truly amazing.

She told me that you have to remember that if you are doing a juice fast, you need to watch out for the calories, because you can gain weight while doing it if you drink heaps and heaps of juice. 2L may be a little bit too much, but if you mix your juice with water and drink it half half and have two maybe three glasses a day, you wont have a problem.

This is my first day or a liquids only fast. On the list of okays are;

~ Water
~ Apple or Orange fruit juice (fresh squeesed)
~ Diet coke
~ Diet cordial
~ Sugar free red bull.

I've heard that drinking your juice, coke ect from a bowl with a spoon makes it seem like you are eating and makes you less hungry. I think it will just look funny, but im going to try.

I think a group fast is in order, i need it. not sure about you people.

I'm going to start on the 19th and continue until i cannot go any longer. Two days to psych myself up about it. Pure water. anyone interested?

On my 2nd day of liquid fasting today. I'm allowing tea, coffee and diet coke.
Anyone wanna join me? I'm going to keep going until I'm 100lbs again...I'm 107lbs at the moment.

So last night I decided I would try fasting. I am just desperate to lose weight. I'm scared and paranoid about gaining.

So I woke up today and so far I've had 2 bottles of water and a little orange juice.

Throughout the day it won't be a problem for me to continue with fasting, but at night I eat with my family and I know they would ask a bunch of questions if i were to say "oh I'm not hungry."

So If i have one meal will this prevent me from losing weight or will it just minimize the weight loss?
I mean either way my calories would be cut ALOT but since i've never fasted before I'm not sure about anything.

I feel like such a fat failure. This was my first day fasting and stupid me couldn't even make it one day. Chris (my bf) was being a jerk. he was so supportive of me fasting, but yet when he heard my stomache growl. he started eating and teasing. and then he ordered a TON of chinese food. I eventually broke down! Now i'm so mad at myself. i'm usually so in control. i NEVER eat more than 500 calories a day. I thought i could fast. i wanna try again tomorrow. I'm not eating anything else tonight. but does anyone have any tips, encouragement, or inspiration for me? please i could really use it.

Hi i'm Jamie....I'm starting a 2 day fast tomorrow..... Well kinda... I'm doing that 48-hour miracle diet.... No food, alcohol, tobacco, nothing but that juice and water for 48 hours...i'll let you guys know how it works. Oh and can i get a little encouragement not to give in? thanks... {{HUGS}}

It's my seventh day of fasting, I haven't lost weight since yesterday though, I hope I haven't hit a plateau! I'm going to stick to just water today so hopefully I'll be down some tomorrow.
